We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. To help support the Literature community we hold regular contests. It is an opportunity for you to get involved and gain some exposure. Contest winners will be featured in a news article and a journal entry--as well as other fabulous prizes. FANTASTIC realism!! For some reason when I look at it it reminds me of those old Norman Rockwell paintings
I really like the way you used all of the palette in the background in such a sketchy way, and then used the same brush technique around the base of the bust.
Even better is that the portrait itself is so dead on target!
